Dr. Meeno Schrader,
founder and owner of WetterWelt GmbH - one of the leading European weather companies in marine weather support and one of the most famous weather routers in the world. Besides many other international sailors and racing teams his most famous client is for sure Ellen MacArthur, he is working with since 2001 in many big events around the world. In early 2005 Meeno supported Ellen during her succesful single hand record attempt around the world.

There is a point of common interest between Henning and Meeno with the philosophy to check in advance all possibilities to run a race in different ocean regions. Different projects and ideas are regularly surveyed: some rejected, others adopted for potential development.

During an event Meeno and his team of four meteorologists are on 24/7 call: using satellite communications and own expert analysis of a huge amount of data of many different forecast models and observations WetterWelt is always on the spot. The support sees a constantly and accurately forecast procedure of the Race Committee, the Media Office and certainly each single yacht of the fleet at sea.
